Lexi teaches yoga to men and women of all ages and experience levels, and to newborns until they are ready to crawl.

By taking the time to understand your specific needs and goals, Lexi will create a personalized program for you and/or your group.

These are practices Lexi offers:

prenatal

Begin to build the bond with your baby while strengthening your body and preparing for childbirth. This program is designed specifically for the needs of the pregnant woman.

postpartum

The program for new moms looking to get back to their pre-pregnancy shape. Class includes asanas, meditation, and breathing exercises. Special attention to cesarean section deliveries. Private lessons available, or check the schedule for group classes.

mommy & me

The program for moms looking to get back into shape while spending quality time with their baby. No need to find a sitter. In this program mom and baby can enjoy yoga together. Class includes Asanas, meditation, breathing exercises, baby engagement and baby massage. Classes offers a safe and nurturing environment to foster growing confidence in body awareness and movement for both Mom and baby. Private lessons available, or check the schedule for group classes.

itsy bitsy yoga ®

Yoga for babies and parents/caregivers
Ages: newborn to almost crawling

Baby Itsy Bitsy Yoga classes contain dozens of unique yoga postures designed to support baby’s development. Each class is filled with calming, nurturing ways to enhance bonding and improve baby’s sleep.

During a Baby Itsy Bitsy Yoga class, babies enjoy yoga while on their backs, tummies, or held in loving arms. For parents, this class is a special opportunity to meet other moms, get support, and learn about baby's emerging personality. Most of the yoga we do in Itsy Bitsy Yoga is for baby, but you will also learn breathing and relaxation techniques as you practice a bit of yoga yourself.

No yoga is experience required. Baby Itsy Bitsy Yoga ® was created by Helen Garabedian, an Infant Developmental Movement Educator, yoga teacher, and mother. Classes are taught by Lexi Coen, a trained & certified Itsy Bitsy Yoga Facilitator.

beginner

An opportunity to learn yoga by using simple postures and focusing on alignment at your own speed. Ideal for the new student who wants to get the personalized attention they need in a larger group class.

restorative

Learn to relax and renew your body and quiet the mind with special poses in which props are used to place the body in comfortable, supported positions. Try these passive poses with props that help the over-stressed body to relax in comfortable and supported positions. Focus on stress reduction, breathing and releasing tension.

vinyasa

A mixed level class for students with some yoga experience. Asanas are taught in a flowing vinyasa style with modifications. A general yoga class incorporating asana, meditation and breathing exercises. Perfect for any level practitioner.
